TOUCH rugby teams came out at Mick Kelly Park on Tuesday evening to sharpen their skills as part of the build-up to the McCarthy Toyota Empangeni Rugby Football Club touch rugby league.
The league starts next Thursday and will see men’s and women’s teams competing in a round robin format every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6pm onwards.
Locals interested in signing up for the popular league can come out on Thursday or Tuesday evening to register and participate in more friendlies before the league kicks off.
Registration costs R200 per team for the entire tournament.
Games are played over two 15-minute halves.
