Bay IDZ beckons Chinese investors
Memorandum of understanding signed between KZN and Guangdong in China

THE Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone (RBIDZ) reached out to more than 150 Chinese manufacturing and export heavyweights to bank on the Bay.
RBIDZ CEO Pumi Motsoahae spoke to the delegates at the Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference held last week in Durban, where a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Guangdong and KZN provinces.

By sealing the deal, the two provinces committed to proactively push for the growth of two-way trade and investment, as well as boosting tourism, agriculture, ports, education and cultural exchanges.
During the business engagement, Motsoahae presented RBIDZ’s industrial estates, highlighting the port’s tax and duty free incentives.
