Couples mentally and physically prepared for parenthood

Over 200 pregnant women seeking antenatal and delivery advice made their way to the hospital

AS all pregnancies are unique and come with their own experiences and challenges, it is important that mums-to-be are both mentally and physically prepared for such an exciting and anxious time in their life.

Coming to the rescue, Unit Manager of the Maternity Unit at the Life Empangeni Private Hospital, Sister Molly Pillay, on Saturday opened the hospital’s doors to over 200 pregnant women seeking antenatal and delivery advice.

The open day included a tour of the maternity unit and nursery, a pregnancy Pilates class and hands-on advice
from resident Specialist Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Dr Jayeshnee Moodley and Dr Thabiso Mtambo.
