School fraud investigated
Chief Specialist: Human Resources, Dr LMMS Madondo will investigate the allegations
A CONCERNED community member of Current Reserve outside Meerensee has made serious allegations of fraud allegedly committed by two S’tholinhlanhla Primary School officials.
uThungulu District Education Director David Chonco acknowledged that his department was aware of the matter.
We have appointed our Chief Specialist: Human Resources, Dr LMMS Madondo, to investigate the allegations.
‘It is not the department’s duty to lay charges against accused, but that of the school governing body. Ours is to intervene only once a teacher accused of any wrongdoing has been found guilty. The police and the Department of Education are conducting the investigation,’ Chonco said.
