Big buzz at athletics track
The Junior Victrix Ludorum went to Zekhetelo Ngama, while Sebastian Meyer took the Junior Victor Ludorum award
THE eShowe Junior School held its annual inter-house athletics meeting over two days last week.
Loerie House cleaned the board when it came to trophies and besides winning the Brockwell Trophy, they also scooped the Cheering Rosette and the girls and boys relay shields.
Other awards went to Bandile Mpanza (Johan Laurence Trophy for shot put – U12 boys), Siyanda Mzimela (Best Field Athlete).
The Junior Victrix Ludorum went to Zekhetelo Ngama, while Sebastian Meyer took the Junior Victor Ludorum award.
Two athletes, Sinokuhle Shiba and Musa Nkosi, tied for the Senior Victrix Ludorum prize and Lunga Gwala was the Senior Victor Ludorum.
