Join Rotary ‘down at the pub’

THE Empangeni Rotary Club will be hosting an English pub evening on Friday, 16 September at the Empangeni Bowling Club.

Elbows will start lifting at around 6.30pm until 11pm at a cost of R80 per ticket, which will be available from Zululand Canvas on Knutzen Street in Empangeni.

‘All profits will be ploughed back into local charities,’ said Rotary’s Barbara Robarts.

Guests can bring their own food and snacks, but no baskets or cool boxes will be allowed as the club bar will be open for drinks.

There will however be beef rolls on sale as well as a DJ to keep the dance floor alive all night.

Secure parking will also be available and the dress code is casual, but no shorts or flip-flops will be allowed.
