Records tumble at relay run
Hluhluwe Primary set two new records in the U13 A and B categories

RECORDS tumbled at the annual Felixton College relay cross-country event last Wednesday afternoon at the Dickson Oval.
Seventy-four relay teams representing 10 primary schools took on the 2km route through Felixton Village in three categories.
Category A was for boys teams, category B for girls and C for mixed boys and girls teams.
Hluhluwe Primary set two new records in the U13 A and B categories.
The boys came home in 32.51 (old record 32.55 – Mtunizni 2012) and the girls in 41.42 (old record 41.46 – Mtunzini 2013).
Mtunzini also set a new record in the U9 B category when their girls crossed the line in 44.50 (old record 47.21 – Felixton College 2013).
The U7 age groups automatically set new records as the previous years had four runners per team competing, but from this year there are only three runners per team.
