eShowe and Felixton lead the pack
In the U16 final, eShowe could not secure a double, going down 0-1 to Felixton College
DOMINATING the pool stages, eShowe High School managed to feature in both the U15 and U16 girls finals at the annual Central Park/EHS Junior Soccer Challenge played on Friday afternoon.
The U15 team went on to claim the crown after beating Richards Bay High School 1-0 in a closely contested final.
eShowe’s Andile Seme lead the team from the front with her quick dribbling skills and sudden acceleration off the mark, which earned the young player the girls U15 Player of the Tournament award.
In the U16 final, eShowe could not secure a double, going down 0-1 to Felixton College.
Felixton’s Aphiwe Nene was rewarded for her hard work out on the park, picking up the U16 Player of the Tournament award.

‘We would like to thank Harry Giannacopoulos from Central Park Spar for getting on board and sponsoring our annual tournament,’ said Empangeni High School’s Public Relations Officer Julie da Silva.
