An uplifting women’s seminar
The programme included spiritual development, financial matters, health issues and wellness
WOMEN of all ages were inspired and motivated during the Women of Faith Conference at the AG Kerk in Empangeni on Sunday.
The seminar offered women an opportunity to learn from inspiring and successful women.
The programme included spiritual development, financial matters, health issues and wellness.
Dr Xoli Mhlongo-Jones, a prominent health care practitioner, offered information on health issues, and touched on the spiritual aspect of a woman of faith.
In her address, Mhlongo-Jones gave clarity on what it means to be a woman of faith and encouraged others to play an active role in building the nation.
‘The change is within us. As women we have the power to influence a positive change,’ she said.
Ladies also received valuable information on investment opportunities and debt control and counselling.
This event was organised by the Rehoboth Christian Centre, with a purpose to uplift women in the area.
‘Women face many challenges in life, and if we sit down and discuss these matters it makes it easy for them to be great wives and mothers,’ said organiser Ayanda Dlamini.
