Record entry for Zini Bush Challenge run
The race attracted participants from as far afield as Midrand.

HELD in superb weather conditions, the Seacom Mtunzini Bush Challenge saw the 16km run record bettered when Adam Lipschitz finished in 58:12.
A total of 626 runners and walkers finished the 16 and 10km events, also breaking the entry record.
The race attracted participants from as far afield as Midrand.
All agreed that it was a great event and undertook to be back next year for the ninth edition.
The last climb to the finish line was once again a great leveller, with many having to slow down their pace to a walk.
One runner said, tongue-in-cheek, that the race should start and end along the beach, and not on top of the hill.
At the prize giving, Paul Mannix said that it will be great to see everyone back next year, but runners can expect a bumper race in 2018 when the Mtunzini Athletics Club will present the 10th Seacom Mtunzini Bush Challenge.
