HULLETS captain Herman Steyn and his troops completed the round robin stages of the Empangeni Darts Sports League unbeaten after ousting Bangin The Neighbours 6-2 at Hullets on Wednesday evening.
The team of Ronnie McEwan, Marcel Jansen, Chuch Pereira, Jerry Bezuidenhout, Steyn and Henning de Wet have produced top darts this season and are firmly entrenched at the top of the log.
Wednesday night’s action saw Pereira and Bezuidenhout scoring 121 and 140 respectively during the cricket match.
McEwan and Jansen then demolished teams in nomination killer.
Steyn lead from the front when closing eight with a four and double two to win his 501 encounter.
The Hullets lads will take on Undertakers at Hullets on Wednesday evening in the first semi-final fixture.
Empangeni Rugby Club (ERC), who smashed Rhinos 6-2 in their last round robin fixture, will host Bangin The Neighbours in the second semi-final.
The finals will be played on Wednesday, 17 August.
The new league will start on Wednesday, 31 August.
