Developing the game of football
The aim of the tournament was to develop soccer within the Zululand region.

NGWELEZANA’S Barcelona football team were crowned U15 Build It champions on Saturday after they beat FC Heroes 2-0 in the finals of the annual tournament played at the Ngwelezana Sports Grounds.
Nine teams competed in the tournament, which saw Barcelona, Flamingo’s, FC Heroes and Coastal Villa qualifying for the semi-finals after playing a round robin format.
Barcelona beat Flamingo’s 1-0, with FC Heroes beating Coastal Villa 2-0 to set up a spot in the grand finals.
Former Bafana Bafana coach Clive Barker attended the tournament, where he selected eight players to attend his academy for further training later this year .
Barker also provided a coaching clinic on Friday at the sports grounds, where local coaches and players were pushed through their paces.
The aim of the tournament was to develop soccer within the Zululand region.
