Kelly leaps to success
After completing the dressage test (2,3km), 20 solid cross country jumps and a round of showjumping, the KZN team placed second behind Western Cape.
LOCAL equestrian rider Kelly Ervine and her steed Silver Diamond leaped to success at the Open Pony Riders Eventing competition at Fourways and Northern Farm in Johannesburg.
The Dayspring Equestrian Centre rider represented the KZN team in the 90cm class.
The KZN team was made up of four riders, namely Nastasha Morphis, Elinor Capastagno, Yanke Rautenbach and Ervine.

The next event on the equestrian calendar is the Ulwazi Three Phase Eventing competition in Howick on 23 and 24 July.
Dayspring will have the following riders participating – Ava Eaglen, Amelie Eaglen, Jessica Johnson, Olivia Johnson and Kelly Ervine.
