Emmanuel Full Gospel Church gets sporty for 70th anniversary

LOCAL congregants went head-to-head in soccer and volleyball matches at the Brackenham Sports Ground in Richards Bay on Saturday, for the Emmanuel Full Gospel Church’s 70-year anniversary celebration.
The soccer tournament kept the crowds entertained with fast end-to-end action which tested the goal keepers.
But it was New Horizon Ministries (NHM) who managed to claim the soccer crown after a fine tournament performance.
The final saw Shalom Lighthouse Ministries draw 2-2 to NHM at full time, which lead to a penalty shootout.
NHM kept their cool to win 3-2.
Resurrection Power Ministries volleyed their competition to win the volleyball competition after beating runners up Livingston Baptist Church in the finals.
