Bay artist releases music video

RICHARDS Bay singer Vinesa Naidoo, the 2015 Umfolozi Idolz winner, released the video of her first song Dance with Me on YouTube last week.
The hip hop music video accumulating more than 800 views in the first day.
The track was produced by popular Zululand DJ Nivaadh Singh of Destination 4:13 Records and shot on location at Hotshots Night Club in Tongaat with a team of 50 people.
As part of her Idolz prizes, Naidoo won a recording deal to produce two tracks with Singh.
Excited to have completed her first track, Naidoo said she kept the video local with appearances by Singh and dancers sponsored by the Dance Academy.
‘We spent a Saturday in Tongaat shooting the video with Meyer Productions from 8am to 8pm.
‘It was amazing to see the production come together and the overwhelming support we received from the community.
‘On a tight budget, we were grateful to all those who supported this venture with sponsorships of their services and time.
‘The last few months have been an exciting journey, juggling work, studies and launching into the music industry,’ she said.
Naidoo and Singh were headlining performers at the Kwadukuza Winter Fair on Friday night.
