IFP ready for uMlalazi battle

There are fewer than 50 days left to voting day and the IFP urges all communities to come out and vote.

THE IFP Umlalazi constituency is ready to contest all 27 wards in the Umlalazi Municipality in the 2016 local government elections on 3 August.

During its candidate selection process the IFP held meetings in all 27 wards, during which the community themselves were given the opportunity to nominate and elect candidates whom they trust to serve their interests and deliver meaningful services.

The ward candidates will be supported by proportional representative (PR) candidates in all wards who were elected in the same manner.

Chairperson of the Umlalazi IFP Constituency and Campaign Committee, Stan Larkan, said he is very confident that the IFP will do extremely well and the end result should without doubt favour the IFP taking control of the municipality.
