‘Solidarity Helping Hands knows we cannot rely on government to intervene – we therefore create the solution for our people ourselves’ says Riaan du Plooy, Vice-Chairman of National Structures.
‘Helping Hands is focused on helping people to help themselves, instead of creating dependence by thoughtless handing out of clothing and food.
‘All our projects are developed and managed to be viable over the long term to break and prevent poverty, instead of providing short term relief only.
‘Community co-operation it is a vital part of tackling and eradicating poverty.
‘Come and be part of the solution.’
The meeting will start at 6 pm at the Zululand Multi Sports Club on 23 Davidson Lane. Contact Mariëtte van Heerden (KZN Regional Organiser) for more information at 0844117806 or marietteh@helpendehand.co.za
