An electrifying comedy session

COMEDY friends delivered a top notch performance during the Sifiso Nene and Friends Comedy Show at Imbizo Hall in Empangeni on Friday night.

The session started with a musical item by Swaziland Afro-soul artist, Sands, who mesmerised the crowd with his sweet tenor voice.

The music session was followed by a hilarious performance by Sangsey of ‘mtakama’ jokes, comedian twins Amawele AseChesterville and KwaMashu comedienne, Thenjiwe.

The connections man Simphiwe Shembe, Mondli Mzizi and Siyanda Maphumulo of ‘Imot ‘ etshotsh’ imali’ were also on the line up, and had the audience silently stunned – than vocally thrilled.

Well-known actress Celeste Ntuli closed the show with a bang – questioning some of the South African traditions and customs, while encouraging women to be independent.
