TWO people lost their lives and at least three others were injured in a collision on the N2 near the John Ross offramp last night (Sunday)
It is believed one of the drivers attempted to make a U-turn on the highway at around 9.30pm, when he was struck by a vehicle which was travelling towards Richards Bay.
The driver of the second vehicle escaped serious injury, while the other, along with a child passenger, were declared dead on scene.
Two other passengers sustained moderate injuries and were transported to hospital.
Empangeni Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
