Compassion in action

MY thanks to all SPCA parties involved in the safe delivery of a baby last week.

Though we are always interested to hear the hard-hitting issues in our community, it was wonderful to pick up the paper and read this story of human compassion on the front page.

It is wonderful to see these hard-working members of our community go above and beyond not only for our four-legged friends, but for all living in our town.

The video of these animal advocates fighting for the incredible first cry from the baby in question really touched me, and I would only hope that we continue to hear good news about this little girl.
