A FATHER whose three-month-old daughter died from critical head injuries after he allegedly threw her to the ground during a dispute with her mother last Tuesday, was arrested on Thursday by the Ingwavuma police.
The baby passed away on Wednesday in the Mosvold Hospital.
KwaMsane SAPS spokesperson, Captain Jabulani Mdletshe, said the suspect was found and arrested in his hometown of Ingwavuma in the Umkhanyakude District.
He will face a murder charge.
The suspect was said to have argued with the baby’s mother about not being allowed to take his daughter home with him when he suddenly grabbed the child and hurled her to the floor.
