THIS year sees the hosting of the 10th annual SANCA/Bay Watch ‘Walk Away from Drugs’ fund-raiser and awareness event and organisers are planning on making it the best ever.
The popular public participation event will take place on 3 September and will follow the traditional route from the Zululand Yacht Club to Naval Island and return.
The first planning meeting took place at the Richards Bay Police Station on Tuesday and the volunteer committee is calling on all potential sponsors to call the SANCA office on 035 7723290.
Anyone wanting to be involved in the event planning is also welcome to make contact.
