ONE person was taken to hospital after a collision between a car and a truck conveying security company personnel in peak morning commuter time on Thursday.
The accident took place at the Foskor robot intersection on the John Ross Parkway.
City of uMhlathuze Fire & Rescue and Traffic Department members were quickly on scene, where a significant amount of diesel leaked onto the road.
The truck ended on its side and a third vehicle incurred minor damage after being caught up in the accident.
