TWO men accused of the brutal murders of David and Ann Strauss in their KwaMbonambi home on 18 January, have been denied bail.
They appeared in the Ngwelezane Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday for a formal bail application.
As they could not prove extenuating circumstances or that it would be in the interests of justice to be released, they were remanded into custody.
The case has been scheduled for transfer to High Court and is awaiting a court date to be set by prosecutors.
