PRIMARY schools from eShowe, Empangeni, Richards Bay, Piet Retief and Durban sent their first netball, hockey and rugby teams (U13) to participate in the 28th annual Asjas Steenkamp Sport Day hosted by Heuwelland Primary School on Saturday.
Rugby matches were 20 minutes in duration, made up of two 10 minute halves, with each team playing two matches.
The hockey programme saw teams playing five 15-minute matches.
The two netball courts were buzzing with action, with teams also playing five 15-minute games.
