MINI cricketers aged U7 to U9 swarmed the picthes at the Heuwelland Mini Cricket Tournament on Saturday.
Each team played two matches and each player got to bowl and bat for 8 balls in each of their matches.
Competing schools were Heuwelland, Veldenvlei, St Catherine’s, Empangeni Christian School, Grantham Park, Richardia, Felixton College and Richards Bay Primary School.
Veldenvlei will host the next tournament on Saturday, with the popular annual KFC Mini Cricket Festival taking place on Saturday, 5 March at the uMhlathuze Regional Sports Complex.
