Sixty-year-old woman murdered
Two armed men entered the house through the window and demanded money from the women's daughter.

THE eShowe SAPS are urgently looking for information which will assist them in solving the murder of Buzaba Virginia Xulu (60) of Ogawula area (Wombane) outside eShowe.
Buzaba, her daughter Mbali and two children were sitting on her bed and talking at around 11pm on Sunday, 31 January when she saw shadows through the window.
She screamed and a the person outside fired a single shot through the window, fatally wounding Buzaba.
Two armed men entered the house through the window and demanded money from Mbali.
Mbali took a small amount of money from a hiding place and handed it over to the one man who asked her to show him the way out.
The other man had jumped out the window.
Sibonelo, Buzaba’s son, was in one of the other houses in the homestead and when he heard the screams and gunshot he ran towards his mother’s house.
When the men saw him they opened fire and wounded him in the chest, but he managed to flee to the nearby bushes and hide until the men had gone.
Buzaba died on the scene, while Sibonelo Xulu (34) is in a serious, but stable condition in hospital.
The suspects are unknown at this stage and the police are asking the public for any information regarding the incident.
