How many shootings have to take place before people realise there should be stricter gun control and harsher penalties for those found possessing firearms illegally.
Yes I am sure the accidental trigger man in this instance is a legal gun owner, but what about the criminals who run around unchecked, armed to the teeth?
If one takes a look at the UK, which has very stringent gun control policies (only certain police units are permitted to even carry firearms) and compares the gun related death statistics to that of South Africa, you might be lucky to escape a mild stroke.
We need stricter gun control laws, and we need them now.
