Minister makes school uniform donation

‘TO improve the education of our children as a fundamental right, and encouraging them to concentrate on their subjects till they reach to the sky, is our dream.’

These were the words from Minister of Arts and Culture Nathi when visiting Mbabe Primary School in the uMfolozi municipal area last week with a donation of shoes and uniforms to 100 children.

His gift formed part of a celebratory function at the 102-year-old school, which was founded in 1914 and of which he is also a product, along with other leaders such as former uThungulu District Mayor, BV Mthethwa.

Mthethwa encouraged adults in the community to help develop their children so that they will become responsible citizens for our country.
