Several arrests in Richards Bay as SAPS do the rounds
A silver Renault Serento (NRB 82332) was stolen in Knorhaanbaai, when the security gate was lifted off the rails.
TWO men were caught red-handed by Northern Region Protection Services (NRPS) while dumping a bakkie load of rubbish in the green belt on the corner of Dune Road and Two Mile Beach last week. The white Izuzu’s registration number is NRB 26830. The matter was reported to the municipality.
A silver Renault Serento (NRB 82332) was stolen in Knorhaanbaai, when the security gate was lifted off the rails. Three men locked the owners in the bathroom and made off with the vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered by SAPS.
On Thursday, a break-inn occurred at Parrotfish, during which television sets, laptops and firearms were stolen. A silver Toyota Corolla was spotted speeding from the scene and the footage was captured on a security surveillance camera.
An expensive black Kona bicycle was stolen from Dageraad and remains missing.
The occupants of a black Volkswagen Polo broke into a house in Empangeni on Sunday and the same vehicle was also spotted at the scene of an attempted break-in at Raasblaarlaagte, Arboretum.
Two men harassed a woman who was drawing cash from the Absa ATM at the Meerensee Spar by insisting that she puts in her password. She had her daughter with her. They later walked off when she moved away from the machine.
