THE bells are ringing and parents are once again on the crazy train to stress town as schools open their doors for yet another year of hard work and plenty of fun.

Cookie cutter sandwiches

Sandwiches, although delicious, are not always the most appealing for some children.

Add some life to your child’s lunchbox by making weird and wacky sandwiches using cookie cutters.

Any left overs can be used to piece together a creative ‘sandwich creature’ for them to snack on later.

‘Leftover’ kebabs

There is always the odd night when we are left with an odd amount of left overs – too little to save but too much to throw away.

Before you decide to chuck it, stick it in the fridge and use the left overs, along with a few other ingredients, to make ‘leftover’ kebabs.

Whether it’s cold chicken, tomato and broccoli or meatballs and cheese, use your culinary creativity to put together little kebabs packed with big flavour.
