MASTERS of spin Smangaliso ‘DJ Cshebo’ Gumede (25) and Tyson ‘DJ Tyson’ Mngadi (26) of Deep House Rebels are starting to make waves in the world of house music.
The Richards Bay duo’s talents are currently getting internationasl exposure, featuring on Greek radio station, Deepinradio.com.
They are first deejays from the region to play on an international platform.
The deep house gang started their career spinning records at local entertainment spots, and soon became a household name.
They are the brains behind the television show DJ Mix on 1KZN TV.
‘We feel blessed to be where we are today,’ they say.
Their versatile style is evident on their recent mix tape release titled Therapeutic Therapy.
Their soulful take on house music have been acknowledged on a list of top emerging deejays in the country.
They have shared desks with top acts such as DJ Fresh, Tira, Tweety, DJ Sbu, Glen Lewis, Bongz, Chynaman, Fistaz Mixwell, DJ Sox, Oskido and Euphonic, to mention a few.
They have also performed at numerous events such as the uThungulu Last Dance, Mhlakufest, Blythedale Beach Festival, FIFA Confed Fan Parks, KwaDukuza Municipality Beach Festival, Ukhozi FM Nyusi Volume Tour and Lira Live In Concert.
