Illegal ammunition arrest
Cracking down on illegal weapons and ammunition, a man was arrested last night in Sodwana Bay
THE Durban Flying Squad Narcotics Task Team turned its attention to northern KwaZulu-Natal this week and arrested a man in Sodwana Bay for illegal possession of ammunition.
Following up on information, the team raided a shop at about 7.30pm on Thursday night. They recovered 73 live rounds of ammunition.
The 30-year-old suspect was arrested after he failed to produce a license to possess such ammunition.
In other parts of the province, the team has seized drugs, counterfeit goods and illegal firearms and arrested suspects.
