SWIMMING for the uThungulu District, young local stars caused a splash at the recent Salga Games by bringing home no fewer than 28 medals.
Competing at Ashton College in Ballito, they ended second out of eight districts.
Coaches Sonja van Ryswyk, Themba Mbuyazi, Deon Barrington and Trevlyn Palframann are very proud of their team and thanked the Department of Sport and Recreation for supporting swimming as an important life skill.
