The beaches were packed for the Day of Reconciliation.
The Day of Reconciliation public holiday on Wednesday saw thousands of people flock to the beaches, including the Bay Hall area in Richards Bay where the braais, loud music and dancing testified that the spirit of the festive season is truly upon us.
