UPDATE: Pongola child killer guilty
The man who murdered and dismembered a 4-year-old in Pongola last year has been convicted.
JUSTICE looms for the family of Lungisani ‘Kiki’ Ntuli who was murdered and dismembered last year in Pongola.
Nhlanhla Magagula (25) appeared at the Pongola Regional Court today facing charges of kidnapping, attempted murder and murder.
He was found guilty of two counts of kidnapping, attempted murder and murder.
The case has been adjourned and he will be sentenced tomorrow (Friday).
Magagula has been accused of kidnapping and killing of Lungisani Ntuli (4) last year June in Pongola.
The body pieces of the child were found at a St Jones Church in Pongola.
KZN Provincial commissioner Lieutenant General Mmamonnye Ngobeni praised the members involved in this case for collecting all necessary evidence that led to the conviction of the accused.
