Sihle aiming for another crown
Sihle Makhanya is in the running for the Miss Mamelodi Sundowns crown in Johannesburg this weekend.
HOMEGROWN beauty queen and Miss South Africa 2015 Top 5 finalist, Sihle Makhanya, will represent KZN at the Miss Mamelodi Sundowns pageant in Johannesburg today (Saturday).
The Empangeni-born model was selected after she outshone thousands of other hopefuls in Durban last month.
She is one of two models to represent the province during the final showdown.
‘It is a dream come true to be part of such a great event and that I was selected to represent my province. All I want to do now is to make everyone back at home proud,’ said the bubbly Makhanya.
She will be competing against 17 other girls from other provinces, who will also be aiming for the crown.
‘It was always a dream of mine to meet Patrice Motsepe, and now I find myself in this position to represent his brand. Not only am I excited, but I feel honoured and proud,’ she said.
