VIDEO: Detective’s brush with death
The car ploughed into the Detective's car at the intersection of John Ross Parkway and East Central Arterial.
A FEMALE Richards Bay detective had a close call late on Thursday morning when her car was rammed by another while she waited for traffic lights to change at the intersection of John Ross Parkway and East Central Arterial.
A vehicle travelling down the highway at speed failed to negotiate the left turn towards the CBD and ploughed over the grassed centre median before crashing into the detective’s car.
She was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The other driver was uninjured.
East Central Arterial was partly closed while the scene was cleared.
