UPDATE: Protesters hand memorandum to Mtuba Mayor

KwaMsane protesters take their plight to the Mtubatuba Municipality.

11.35am – Protesters have arrived at the Mtubatuba Municipal offices.

Mtubatuba Mayor, Israel Nyawo received a memorandum from the protesters.

MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs Mike Mabuyakhulu and uMkhanyakude District Mayor Jeff Vilane will meet with the protesters tomorrow.

9.30am – KwaMsane protesters march on Mtubatuba Municipal offices

KWAMSANE protesters are en route to the Mtubatuba Municipal offices this morning.

They have a list of service delivery grievances they plan to hand over to MEC for Economic Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs Mike Mabuyakhulu.

The march comes after protesters caused chaos on the N2 and set fire to the KwaMsane Community Hall earlier this month.
