Man bitten by cobra in game reserve
Man recovers after cobra bites him on his ankle.
A MAN is in a stable condition in a Richards Bay hospital after he was bitten by a cobra last night in a North Coast game reserve.
‘Reports from the scene indicate that the man was in the kitchen at his cottage at around 6:45pm when he was struck on the ankle by the snake,” said Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha.
According to reports, people in the reserve managed to kill the snake and loaded the man into a vehicle and met the ambulance on route to Richards Bay.
