Shante snatches gold in KZN shot putt champs

ARBORETUM Primary School’s head girl Shante Veldsman snatched gold in the Girls U13 shot putt event at the KZN Athletics Championships held in Chatsworth last weekend.

The talented athlete won the event with a final distance of 11.09 metres.

She will represent KZN at the Inter Provincial Tournament on 21 November in Durban.
