Emergency services rush to horror crash near Tugela River bridge
EMERGENCY services, a helicopter and rescue personnel are on the scene of a horrific accident on the N2 Northbound carriageway in the vicinity of the Tugela River bridge.
Two people have been tragically killed, while paramedics are trying to stabilise injured people on the roadside. Six critical patients are being airlifted to Stanger Hospital.
It is still unclear what caused the accident, but it is believed a bakkie, carrying eight people overturned at about 6 am.
