IT was a blissful moment when 66 disabled patients from the uThungulu District Municipality received new wheelchairs at the Nawe Zufunze Disabled Association on Thursday afternoon.
The initiative was launched by association chairperson Paradise Jali and supported by the uThungulu municipality and Richards Bay Rotary Club.
‘We always try and assist people in our region who are in need of wheelchairs. We have been working with different organisations and are very happy about the contribution made by the Rotary Club,’ said Jali.
