Change to driver’s licencing procedures
Residential proof needed at traffic departments.
AS of 1 November, personal particulars and address verification will be required when dealing with vehicle or licensing applications and renewals.
Members of the public must produce proof of of residence in addition to full names and I/D numbers.
Any municipal account, such as electricity bill, may be submitted as proof of residence.
In the case where the utility account is not in the name of the person, the one in whose name the account is issued must make an affidavit or affirmation declaring that the person resides at the address.
The affidavit must be accompanied by the utility account of such person.
