Ya man, Reggae dayz in Richards Bay
Reggae artists will be 'jahmming' in Richards Bay.
REGGAE artists from all Africa will be ‘jahmming’ during the 1st Africa Rize Reggae and Poetry Festival in Richards Bay this weekend.
The two-day concert will begin on Friday night, and the main event will be held on Saturday (30 -31 October)
Fans can expect strong, passionate songs and captivating live performances, under the theme African Unity.
They will be bobbing their heads and move to the ‘ridim’ of Ras Marolaath, Sandy Orace, Shutters Unlimited, Shonisani and local artist Sizwe Zakwe.
Legendary Carlos Djedje and selector Jah Crucial will also grace the festival.
‘We invite everyone to come and witness this first ever reggae festival in our region. We have selected the best in the field to entertain fans,’ said organiser Sizwe Zakwe.
Rastafarian attire and accessories will be sold on various stands. Entry is free.
