Thanda ready to grab a fistful of points

Thanda ready to make the most of three games in one week.

THANDA Royal Zulu will play Mthatha Bucks this afternoon at the Mthatha Stadium at 3.30pm.

We would be surprised if the Amabhubesi failed to take all three points against the National First Division bottom dwellers, who had failed to win any of their eight league matches this year.

Saturday’s game:

Heading into this Saturday’s fixture against Maroka Swallows at the uMhlathuze Stadium, fans will again be confident of a victory and three more points.

Swallows are also having a miserable season, lying third to last on the log and having only scored four goals in their 2015/16 campaign.

By contrast, Thanda are riding the crest of the wave, their 3-2 win over second placed Witbank Spurs last Saturday sending an ominous warning to the rest of the NFD that Asanda Mvalo’s exciting young squad is becoming a formidable unit.

There is a stability and loyalty in the club that has been lacking for some time and with financial pressures having eased somewhat, the team can now concentrate on what they do best – and that is to play attractive, attacking football.

Fitness levels are up, as are skill levels and confidence.

We’re expecting nine points in eight days, and the lads are ready to deliver.

Kick-off is at 3.30pm.
