Zululand malls on auction
ZCCI Chairman believes the auction will see no change in trade.
BUSINESSMEN will be bidding for Mandini Square and eShowe Mall during an auction in Durban this week.
A prime commercial shopping centre, Mandini Square will go under the hammer on Wednesday, while eShowe Mall will be auctioned on Thursday. According to Zululand Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZCCI) Chairman Dave Whittaker there needn’t be cause for concern.
‘These are both fully functioning entities and I do not foresee business closure or job losses,
‘Both will continue to trade and it is not in the liquidators’ best interest to close down when there are paying tenants.’
