AFTER being hijacked, a Jozini resident was robbed of cash and driven to an isolated part of Manguzi where she was left tied up as the suspects made off with her vehicle.
Just before 8pm last night, Julie Celiwe Mathenjwa was approached by a gun-wielding suspect as she emerged from the KFC.
She said the suspect forced her into the passenger seat of her vehicle and, once in the vehicle, a second suspect got into the car and they drove towards Ingwavuma.
The suspects then demanded money and Mathenjwa gave them R300. They then tied her up and left her in an isolated area in Manguzi before driving away in her white Isuzu bakkie, registration NUB 6263.
Jozini SAPS have opened a case of hijacking and urge anyone with information on the whereabouts of the vehicle or suspects to contact them on 035 5723600, or report it to the nearest police station.
