IT was a sad evening for local Idols SA fans when local performer, Thami Shobede was chopped from the contest.
Judges, Randall Abrahams, Gareth Cliff, Unathi Msengana, and Somizi Mhlongo announced, there were 8 contestants who received the most votes from the Idols SAfans over the past two weeks.
Karabo Mogane, Loyiso Gijana, Rhema Varrie, Siphelele Ngcobo, Dineo Moseki, Amanda Antony, Elwira Standili and Mmatema Moremi.
And then it was up to the judges to decide which two singers from the remaining eight contestants were worthy of a second chance.
Nadia Herbst from Paarl and Lungisa Xhamela from Langa in the Cape were saved.
Thami fans took to twitter to voice their disappointment in the judges decisions.
