Second serial rapist arrested

ANOTHER serial rapist, who has raped at least three women, has been arrested by the Empangeni Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit (FCS).

The man was using the same modus operandi as the ‘Satanic’ rapist, promising jobs and luring his victims to a secluded area near the taxi A-rank in Empangeni between February and May this year.

Three victims have so far come forward and identified the suspect, who appeared in the Empangeni Magistrate’s Court on 24 August.

The case was postponed for formal bail application to 31 August.
